~Baby's Eyes~

Paisley has the most beautiful newborn dark blue eyes. As you gaze into her gorgeous eyes, she will have you convinced that she must be real! Paisley has the sweetest soulful look. People who have seen her have thought that she was real. They had to be told more than once that she is a doll! When you look into a newborn baby's eyes, you often wonder, "will they be blue, will they be brown?" Baby Paisley's gorgeous Eyeco eyes have this real newborn look.

~Baby's Hair~

Paisley has the most beautiful and silky soft baby hair. It is a lovely shade of medium brown premium mohair. It is meticulously Micro-Rooted using our own Bountiful Baby Micro-Root® rooting tool and a tiny felting needle. She has thousands and thousands of individual hair follicles. Her hair is simply amazing! It is rooted in the direction that hair grows naturally, so it is not frizzy and doesn't require constant grooming to stay looking nice. It is rooted so finely, and her roots are so tiny that you will never have to worry about whether or not they show. This gorgeous premium mohair is the closest thing to real newborn baby hair that I have ever seen! It is so soft and has a nice healthy sheen to it. This beautiful natural looking color is perfect for her! Her hair is rooted sparsely; and just like a real baby, you can see her scalp peeking through!

~Newborn Nails~

Have you ever noticed that a newborn baby's nails have a slightly reddish look to the skin under the nails? Newborn babies also have a reddish color line just below the white tips of the nails. Baby Paisley's nails have it all. Each and every tiny baby nail has been meticulously hand painted with our custom mix Bountiful Baby Permanent Heat Set Artist Colors for a real newborn look. Of course, I did not paint the white half moons that you see on your own nails. This was not an over site, it is simply because newborn babies do not have them. Her little nails have been sealed with durable Genesis Varnish. This look is very natural, and is yet another example of her superb detail!

~Baby's Body~

Baby Paisley has full legs allowing her to wear only a diaper on the bottom. Her jointed vinyl arms are vinyl to just above the elbows, allowing her to wear short sleeves. The tops of her arms are fabric, making her more cuddly and poseable.

Although only her arms are jointed and not her legs, she is still quite poseable. I personally prefer this body as it gives the most natural look in just a diaper or diaper cover. However, I have also designed a body for this baby with jointed arms and legs. I will change the body to the fully jointed one if her new mommy prefers.

She has a custom Bountiful Baby Body, designed by myself, a professional designer and sewn by our dedicated and skillful team of seamstresses. Her body is made of high quality Bountiful Baby BabySkin™ Doe Suede fabric and is double stitched where needed for added durability. All seams are serged! These bodies are made to last!!!

Paisley has been weighted with sealed plastic pellets and stuffed with ultra soft poly-fil supreme. Her limbs are weighted with steel pellets that are secured together in the center and surrounded by soft poly-fil, for a firm center core and soft outer skin-- just like real limbs!  She also comes with our Bountiful Baby Fat Inserts inside her tummy and tushy, factory made to perfectly simulate real baby fat!  It can be felt even through her diaper and feels so realistic you won't be able to resist patting her little bottom!  She is floppy like a real newborn and will need a little help holding her head. She feels so real, you won't ever want to set her down!

~Baby's Skin~

Paisley has been permanently painted with Custom Premixed Bountiful Baby Genesis Heat Set paints. Many layers have been added to give her an ultra realistic skin tone. She even has ultra fine capillaries, a light stork bite on her forehead, and baby milia (tiny white spots on a newborns nose and chin). Just look at the close-up photo, below. She is just amazing! Paisley is the most beautiful baby that I have ever made. I adore her! The Genesis Paints allow for such wonderful detail, and our custom mixed Bountiful Baby Genesis colors are a perfect match for her newborn complexion!

Paisley's Bountiful Baby BabySkin™ vinyl is a gorgeous newborn pink color. It is flexible and soft. Baby Paisley's skin color is amazingly realistic. I have put great effort into creating the real coloring of a brand new baby. She has been hand painted and blushed to perfection all over every inch of her vinyl. Paisley's skin is so beautiful with a lifelike soft texture. She is absolutely Radiant!

~Baby's Brows and Lashes~

Paisley's eyebrows are amazing! They are painted so finely that they appear to be growing right from her brow. Each and every tiny hair was carefully and skillfully hand painted using our Bountiful Baby custom mix permanent Genesis paints. Paisley has short newborn looking Bountiful Baby light brown eyelashes that perfectly match her hair and complexion.

~Professionally Packaged~

Baby Paisley will arrive in her new home professionally packaged in a Berenguer Special Edition doll box, then double boxed for a safe ride home. Included with Baby Paisley is a beautiful photo brag book full of gorgeous photos of Paisley for the new mommy to share with her friends and relatives. Paisley also arrives with a Bountiful Baby Birth Certificate, care instructions, a quality soft baby brush for brushing that baby soft hair, her pacifier, a newborn Huggies diaper, plus an extra one for her journey home, Paisley's favorite little Gund Kitten named Penny, and her beautiful Wardrobe described below. ~Baby's Wardrobe~

Paisley comes with her gorgeous hand made one-of-a-kind baby quilt. Many of the squares are paisley prints. Each square (with the exception of the sage green Chenille and the plush white) is unique and not repeated in the quilt. It is crib size and will look lovely to display her on or to use in her crib if you have one for her. It is made of high quality quilter's fabrics, and the quilted stitches form a gorgeous floral design. Two other blankets are included. One is a genuine hospital receiving blanket and the other a gorgeous boutique Will'beth white knitted blanket with ribbon and flower embroidery accents.

Paisley also comes with her gorgeous Will'beth dress. This beautiful dress is baby pink with a soft white embroidered overlay. It has tiny pearl accents and includes panties. A gorgeous high-end sweater tops this dress on a chilly day. Gorgeous embroidered satin baby shoes and tiny white socks cover Paisley's precious feet. The sweater and socks are both made by Little Things Mean a Lot.  Next, she has a soft white comfy Boutique Truffels brand outfit. ~Magnetic Accessories!~

Paisley has a magnetic hair bow that stays in very well. She also has a magnetic pacifier to help sooth her. Hold the pacifier up to her lips, and it's as if she sucks it right out of your hand!

Although I don't believe these small magnets will be an issue, you should ask your doctor before using them around pacemakers. They are very powerful for their size. These magnets are not toys and should never be given to small children, because magnets can cause serious injury or death in the rare event that a small child swallows more than one. As always, care should be taken with magnets around credit cards or electronic devices. Magnets will be removed if requested by the new mommy.

Paisley is so very precious, and she is meant for a special home. She is such a good baby girl and not a toy.

I have always had a love for art and babies. I started my doll making ventures at the age of 14, sewing, painting, and blushing life-size, soft sculptured dolls. It was truly a joy to create this little work of art. Her labor was long, but so fruitful!
